Anna was the first girl in Delaware to win the Division One Cross Country Championship three times, earning the George Johnson Award as the fastest runner at the State meet, and the state cross country MVP, the Bill Gerow Award, each three times. Upon graduation, she had course records on four courses (Bellevue, Brandywine, Killens, & White Clay). The 2006 Brandywine graduate won two 3200m at the Meet of Champions Meet and was the Division One 1600m Champion four times. Her personal bests were 2:18.99-800m, 4:57.19-1600m, and 10:57.91-3200m, the last two ranking in the state’s all-time lists.

She ran at William & Mary, finishing 15th in the ECAC Cross Country Meet and ran 11:07.8 in the steeplechase.

Kami’lah was an outstanding hurdler and sprinter at all levels. She won national championships as an age-group runner, was named the William A. Thomson Award winner as the Girls’ State MVP in 2002 and indoor 2003, and was a two-time All American in the indoor 200m as a Glasgow student-athlete. She earned 24 state titles and still holds the indoor state and meet record in the 200m.

She was a three-time All-Big Ten sprinter/hurdler and was a member of Penn State’s first-ever Big Ten Championship. While at Penn State, she broke a 21 year-old record running a time 8.02 in the 55mHH. She recorded performances that currently still rank in the top 5 in Penn State history. She finished her career at Florida State. After recovering from a torn hamstring, she placed seventh in the 100m and ninth in the 200m at the ACC Championships, making 4 NCAA appearances. Post collegiately, she ran a :13.15, which ranked her amongst the top hurdlers in the world. Her personal bests were :08.50-60m HH, :13.15-100m HH, :07.47-60m, :11.56-100m, :23.60-200m.

Meredith had a storied running career at the Tatnall School. The 2002 graduate was the two-time state MVP in Cross Country, winning the Division II state title in 2000, the New Castle County Championships in 2000 and 2001, and setting records at several courses throughout the state, including Bellevue, Killens Pond, and Lums Pond, among others. A soccer player through her junior year, Meredith switched to track during her senior year, claiming the 2002 Division II state titles in the 800, 1600, and 3,200 meters, followed by MOC Titles in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters. During that same season, Meredith also set the state record in the 3,200 meters, running a time of 10:50 at the Twilight Relays.

Following high school, Meredith competed on the Women’s Varsity Cross Country and Track & Field teams at Princeton University. While there, she ran personal bests of 9:25 in the 3,000 meters, 16:19 in the 5000 meters, and 33:55 in the 10,000 meters; received all-conference honors during all three seasons that she competed; qualified twice for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship meet in the 10,000 meters; won the 5,000 meters at the 2005 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship meet; and finished in 61st place at the 2004 NCAA Cross Country National Championship meet.

After graduating from Princeton, Meredith went on to win the 2007 Eugene Marathon in 2:44:39, qualifying her to compete at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the Women’s Marathon. As she continues to compete in marathons, Meredith’s top performances include an 11th-place finish at the 2010 Philadelphia Marathon, a 20th-place finish at the 2012 Boston Marathon, and a 6th-place finish at the 2014 Vermont City Marathon.

Kai has proven himself to be one of the best jumpers in Delaware history. The Cape Henlopen athlete broke 24′ several times during his high school career. Kai won the 1997 state long jump in 1997 and 1998.

In a matter of months, he won the East Coast Championship (Bethesda, MD), AAU Junior National Championship (Charlotte, NC), and the National Scholastic Outdoor Championships (NC State University) after his junior year, ranking as one of the top long jumpers in the country according to Track & Field News.

Indoor his senior year, Maull went 4/4 winning indoor state championships in the 200m, 400m, LJ (24’2), and TJ (48’7.5) setting state records in both jump events. Maull remains the indoor state record holder. He won 1997 Indoor Track & Field AOY honors. In 1998, Maull won the long jump at the Penn Relays (24’9) and again winning the Delaware State long jump championship (23’3). Kai finished his high school career winning 6 state championships.

He went to Clemson University receiving All-Conference (ACC) and All-American honors, earning All-American honors in 1999, jumping 25’7.25” to finish eighth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Indoor, he currently ranks 2nd all-time in the long jump (25’1.75) and 6th in the triple jump (50’5.25).

Outdoor, Maull ranks 3rd all-time in the long jump (25’7.25) and 10th in the triple jump (50’2.5).

Maull returned to Delaware as a coach at Cape Henlopen and currently at St. Georges Tech. He has coached 5 individual state champions and three championship relay teams.
