Cornell University (graduated 1976). Captain of cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. All Ivy awards in cross and track. College bests: 4:09 (mile). 8:56 (2 mile). 14:13 (5k).
Qualified and competed in 3 U.S. Olympic Trials marathons (1980, 1984, 1988)
Set NJ State record for New Jersey marathon (1979-2:17:02)
Set a personal best in the Marathon – 2:14:43 (Chicago – 1985)
