Nikko Brady was a three times statewide MVP, state champion in the high hurdles three times and in the long jump four times at Charter School of Wilmington, she was all-conference four years at Boston University.

While attending Charter School of Wilmington she was the State outdoors MVP in 2007 and indoors as a sophomore and junior in 2007 and 2008. She won three events, placing in a fourth, to lead Charter to its first state championship in 2009. She was a three times State Meet of Champions winner at the 100-meter hur-dles, where she ran the seventh fastest time in state history (14.37) after sophomore year at Nike Outdoor Nationals. She was also a four-time long jump winner at Meet of Champions, with second longest (18-10) all-time. Also Meet of Champions winner in the triple jump in 2009, when she won three events.

While attending Boston University she was a four-time conference champion who qualified for NCAA regionals three times. Was elected America East Rookie of the Year in 2010, winning league title at 55 hurdles (8.04) and long jump (19-0), with top-five finishes in 60-meter hurdles and long jump at the ECAC Champion-ships.

As sophomore, top-five in the ECAC 60-meter hurdles and long jump, second in the America East 60-meter hurdles and third in the long jump. At the outdoor ECAC meet, 8th in the 100-meter hurdles and long jump.

As junior, won the America East 60-meter hurdles (8.64) and second in the long jump (19-¾). Took sixth in 60-meter hurdles 8.62 at the ECAC Championships.

As senior indoors, fourth in the long jump at ECAC Championships, third in the 60-meter hurdles (8.65) and fourth in the long jump at the New England Championships. Also as senior, won the Penn Relays Eastern long jump in 20-4½, second best in university history.

One of Delaware’s top track athlete as a junior and a senior, graduating from Christiana High School with four state records, she was an outstanding collegiate quarter-miler.

While attending Christiana High School in 2000 and 2001 she was awarded the Outdoor statewide female track Athlete of the Year – by the N5CTA and Gatorade. She was also awarded the 2000 and 2001 Indoor statewide female track Athlete of the Year.

She swept the 100, 200 and 400 at the 2001 State Meet of Champions. She set state record in the 100, was second all-time in the 200 and 400. She anchored the state record-setting teams at 4×100 and 4×200.

She was the State’s fastest in the 100 for three years & state’s fastest in 200 and 400 two years. She set state indoor records in the 55-meters, 60-meters and 200 meters. Graduated as second fastest all-time in the 400. Her state records in the 55 and 60 lasted until 16 years later. She was recognized as a High School All-American in the indoor 60-meters and outdoor 100-meters (2000) and indoor 60-meters and 200-meters (2001).

While attending the University of Miami in 2006) she ran the second leg of university record indoor distance medley relay team. Was a member of the Florida Intercollegiate champion 4×400-meter relay team and ran the opening leg of 4×400-meter relay that won the Pepsi Invitational title.

While attending Seton Hall (2002-03) she was a member of Big East indoor 4×400 relay champion team (2002) and earned championship points by placing fifth in the Big East indoor 400 (2002).

In 1983 Eric was the state’s top distance runner while attending Dickinson High School, that year he set the state record at 5,000 meters. That record stood for a period 24 years.

He was a Division One state cross country champion; best time (15:44) which was the best time either of the state divisions, setting a Killen’s Pond course record.

He repeated as Blue Hen Conference cross country champion and won 3,000 at the Greater Philadelphia Coaches meet, setting state record (8:39.2) that lasted 29 years.

He was a State Champion at 3,200 meters. Ran 9:17.6 at the Meet of Champions to break John Green-plate’s state record, setting a record that would last for 24 years.

What is amazing is that earlier in the day, ran 4:18.2, finishing second in the 1,600, which was fourth fastest time ever. He was also New Castle County champion at 3200 (9:25.7) and 1600 (4:20.7).

In 1981 he was Blue Hen Conference cross country champion and Division One runner-up and New Castle County 3200 champion (9:28.7) He attended Georgia Tech University and competed in the SEC conference.

Jamie represented Mount Pleasant in cross-country and track from 1991-1995. During those years he achieved six individual state championships, including 1992 and 1994 Division I cross-country championships, 6 course records (Delaware and Pennsylvania), 3x All-State selection.

In his senior year (1994-1995) he was the Division I Cross-Country State Champion, state’s cross-country MVP award winner, invitational winner at Sallies, St. James and Diamond State (3200), Division I State Champion in the 1600 and 3200, represented Delaware at the AAU Cross-Country and Track & Field Championships.

While attending East Carolina University from 1995-1999, Jamie was a three-time ECU team MVP, All-Conference and All-Academic selection. During the 1996 cross-country season he was first ECU runner to achieve all conference, helping to lead his team to their highest finish in school history. While at ECU he set the then-university record in the 8,000 and still remains on the school record board for 5k, 8k and 10k.

Edith dominated the triple jump and was a member of the record breaking relays teams.

In High School Edith attended William Penn High School where she excelled. As a Junior Edith was first team all-state in the 4×100, 4×200, 4×400, and triple jump. At the 1998 State Outdoor Championships she placed 1st in the triple jump (37’3 1/4) and she ran 2nd leg on the relays which set state records in the 4×100 (48.54) and 4×200 (1:42.00). As a Senior Edith was a repeating State Champion in the triple jump and placed 1st in either divisions. Also, she ran on the indoor state champion 4×200 relay team. Edith graduated with the 4th best triple jump in state history with a mark of 38’2.

Upon graduation from William Penn, Edith earned a full Track and Field scholarship to Temple University. She was 9-time First Team Atlantic 10 Conference and 3-time Second Team Atlantic 10 Conference as a sprinter/jumper. Edith ran legs on the Owls’ 4×100, 4×200, and 4×400 relay teams. In 2003, as a senior, she was voted as the Most Outstanding Field Performer at the Indoor Championships by placing first in the triple jump in 40’5 1/2 and fourth in the long jump. At the ECAC Championships Edith placed 4th with a mark of 40’8, which broke the A-10 triple jump record and is the indoor record at Temple University.
